While I'm sure some value the extra challenge fatigue provides, I'm not one of them. I found myself too often just trying to find a healthy body to stick onto a team.
Like many, I prefer to build up a core of senior soldiers, then use those to carry rookies later in the campaign. Not Working? Try the following: 1. Exit Game and clear out your config folder.

Simple but really practical mod. Fatigue system makes the game more realistic but also prevent me from using elite soldiers often. Nice work :. Coming back to XCOM 2 after a long hiatus, this mod is saving my ass more than I would like to admit.
I just completed a WOTC campaign with mods including this one. It all went well.Home Discussions Workshop Market Broadcasts. Change language. Install Steam. Store Page. Global Achievements. I know I'll probably get the hellfire rained down upon me for this, but I really prefer to keep a tight squad that I bring throughout the course of the game.
WIth this new willpower decay system, it isn't really an option. I understand that was their point with implementing the system; it just isn't how I enjoy the game. Does anyone know a console command or other way to restore the willpower or disable this option for my squad? Showing 1 - 5 of 5 comments. Not yet but I'm sure a mod will pop up sooner or later that gets rid of the fatigue system since you are not the first to ask about it.
Word of advise, though: You will not be able to keep a tight squad either way because you now will have to send soldiers away on faction missions, during which they will not be available for missions plus they still might get wounded, of course.
There is both a mod that removes that in the workshop search fatigue will be the first one to pop and an ini file change that does the same thing.
Reffy View Profile View Posts. I actually agree with OP. Don't want to look at 20 wounded soldiers, while managing the other Your game, your rules. Just enjoy it your way. Personally, i think the fatigue thing is great.
People get tired and go nuts. Thanks a bunch. I actually figured out an ini tweak that fixed it the first day, but I do appreciate you following up.

As the name of the system suggests, you now get tired soldiers who must be rested and rotated appropriately, and learning the quirks of the system will ensure everyone remains in tip-top shape. If you need more help, our XCOM 2 War of the Chosen guide provides a breakdown on how else you can tackle the huge expansion. Fatigue levels are measured by how tired your troops are as a result of repeated drafting for missions. It's possible, due to the nature of war, for a soldier's mental fortitude to waver even if they repeatedly return from combat unscathed.
As such, soldiers may become tired after returning from a mission. This fatigue differs to XCOM 2's conventional physical wound system because tired soldiers can still be selected for battle.
Being unwilling or unable to let them recuperate will take its toll on their mental state and so tired soldiers are much more likely to be adversely affected in battle by negative conditions such as being panicked or obsessed.
Negative traits are, as you'd expect, a big problem. These range from having a fear of a certain enemy type - Vipers, Robotic enemies, or even the Chosen themselves, for example - to having a fear of fire, through to more esoteric concerns such as being obsessed with having a full clip of ammo. Further failing to rest these fragile souls will lead to them potentially developing longer-term negative traits that require treatment, or suffering reduced will and becoming shaken for a couple of weeks.
Combat them by learning about each new faction with our Reaper abilities and skill treeSkirmisher abilities and skill tree and Templar abilities and skill tree pages, as well as learning about the new Challenge ModeResistance RingAbility PointsFatigue and Bonds systems. Good luck, Commander! Negative traits from Fatigue can be combated by treating the soldier in the new Infirmary room. They'll be out for several days while they receive treatment, but they will return with any and all negative traits removed.
Of course, the best way to treat negative traits is to avoid picking them up in the first place and the best way to do that is to allow your soldiers to rest and not take them out on missions when they are tired. As is ever the case with XCOM, ensure you have a healthy squad rotation to fight against fatigue and keep your soldiers in tiptop physical and mental condition.

No matter what you need console commands for, there are some that are more useful than others. And in this XCOM 2 guideI'll go over the most useful commands that you have at your disposal, and the variables you can use with them to suit pretty much every need.
But I have omitted some commands that will break or severely damage the base functions of the game, just to be on the safe side.
Before you can actually open the command console, you'll have to enable it in the first place. For Steam versionsright click on XCOM 2 in your games libraryopen the general properties taband then paste " —allowconsole " again without quotation marks in the set launch options box.
Make sure you're loading into a game first or your commands won't actually do anything. Another thing to keep in mind is the context.
Using commands to build things on the Avenger obviously won't work if you're using the command while in a fight. It's just small common sense stuff that you'll want to be aware of. Before any of these commands will work, you must enable cheats using the console. To do this, just open the console and enter "enablecheats" without the quotation marks. After that, you're all set to "test things out" -- cause you're not actually cheating, right?
But if you do want to veer into cheat command territory, here are the console commands for enabling some god-like modes.
If it's resources that you want, there's a command for any resource, any character, and any amount.
We won't list every single variation here, but the gist of these commands is as follows:. There are far more commands for resources, including corpses and actual resources such as Alien Alloys. Supplies are also considered a standard supply and can be granted using this command. To make these commands suit any of your needs, all you need to do is a little tweaking. For any resource, the command is "give resource X " where X is the variable resource you want added, and is the value of how many desired.
Be aware that some armors will require corresponding research in order to function properly. Luckily, there's a console command that will instantly grant you the research you need to use any armor.
Keep in mind that you will not get voice overs or cut scenes involving research if you do this. Furthermore, there are reports of the main campaign becoming bugged if you force research on certain requirements like forcing the Advent officer's autopsy.
If it's items that you need, here are the console commands you can use to grant yourself any number of them:. Simply type "AddItem X ", where X is the variable for the item you wish to be given, and is the amount of that item.
Of course, any console-commanded army will be incomplete without an abundance of high-octane weapons to blast their way through enemies. Here are the console codes for all the weapons mods you could need:. For weapon mods the quality of the mod can be changed easily. You'll just need to add an extra parameter to your console command.
For example:. To use this command, you need to replace the X with a soldier's name, and the ClassName indicator with the name of an actual class. Just keep in mind that the name of the soldier must be in quotations for this console command to work. This will make your soldier, John Smith, a Specialist. You can replace the "Specialist" with any class in the game -- Ranger, Sharpshooter, Grenadier, etc. Note: Using this console command will demote any soldier to a squadie and strip them of all their ranks.Quick links.
Long War 2 Console Commands Start with the fundamentals. Forum rules Players can post in Long War threads but not start new ones. Nothing is guaranteed and don't ask for help with these, whatever Faustian pact you've created for yourself means that you and Google can work it out on your own. Read each command closely as you type it into the console and it will provide enough information as to what data it is looking for. I'm not helping you. The "number" is the "quality" of the engineer from 1 to Not sure what the baseline quality is but you will get one if you enter the text with no modifier.
Is there a way to "Force" the Nest Mission? I'm midway through August and still haven't gotten the mission yet and I have the hunter weapons already.
Or is there a way to check the current forcelevel? I've had a few times where my soldiers have been promoted to a vanilla class because I have the "UseMyClass" Mod installed and didn't properly reset all the classes in my CharPool to the new LW classes. You can change their classes, but they are set back to squaddie, which is a bummer. Can anyone help me with how the force level is calibrated. I understand it drives but not exclusively enemy types and am thinking about setting it back to 'just about to see archon levels'.
Should this be 5,50,? Also do I risk putting the game into an inconsistent state by winding it backwards? A targetable rank up command would be nice. I have another command request: a targetable AWC reroll. Taking screenshots and TTCing stuck units is quite tricky without that.
I am trying to make a character a Psionic and its not working.
The character doesnt change class. The "displaysoldierclass - 1" command dumps everything in the console but it truncated after a few hundred lines and I can't see all my soldiers. Is there a better way, or maybe a way to dump the output I tk a text file? Or even change the max lines of output in the console? I am on ironman in a bugged Nest mission already killed the VK and I can't escape.
